Like most people in business, I would like to sell you something. On this page you will find information about how to purchase my Fine Art Prints or images from an Event I have covered. There is also a brief outline of the hosting company I use.
All Fine Art prints are made here in Kelowna by my printing partner, with the exception of metallic prints which are made in Vancouver. I personally inspect all prints for quality and consistency, and then sign each print before they are shipped to the customer. Currently I am offering four kinds of media for an image to be printed on, which are described below. If you would like to use a specific media/paper for a print, please contact me to discuss the details.
Print Media Types
Gallery Wrap Exhibition Canvas – These prints are made with Epson exhibition quality acid-free canvas, combined with archival ink. The canvas is stretched onto 1.5″ bar and is ready for hanging on your wall. The full image is displayed on the front of the canvas, and an addition section is printed for the overlap onto the side of the bar. This means that you do not loose any of the print to the wrapping technique, and there are no unnatural white sections on the side of the prints. All prints are sprayed with a UV inhibitor for protection. Under the right conditions, these prints will be good for more than 80 years.
Metallic Prints – These are great for high-contrast prints and especially black and white images. I have printed a number of my images using this process and I love it. It is a high-gloss finish, and colors really pop. Good for foam-core mounting and framing.
Archival Photographic Paper – Images printed onto archival photographic paper are a cost-effective way to buy fine art images for display in your home or office. These prints can be simply placed in a frame of your choice, or foam-core mounted before hanging.
Photographs from events I have covered are also available from this site. To find your event, click on Photo Galleries on the menu above and then the Events box, or you can just click on this link and go straight there. I generally offer 5×7 or 8×10 prints and low resolution digital downloads for purchase. If you would like some other format please contact me directly.
Creating and managing an on-line photo gallery with cool lightbox and shopping cart functions is complex stuff, and so I use a third-party to do it for me. I have chosen Photo Shelter to be my gallery and sales partner, and they are great at what they do. When you are viewing my image galleries or making purchases, it is Photo Shelter who is running the back end of things. If you have any questions or concerns about this service, please do not hesitate to contact me.
